Milas-Bodrum Airport (BJV)

Milas-Bodrum Airport is the main air gateway to the Bodrum peninsula and the wider Muğla province on Turkey's Aegean coast. Opened to international traffic in 1997, the airport serves a strongly seasonal mix of domestic flights and leisure charter traffic from the United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands and other parts of Europe.

The airport sits between the town of Milas and the coast, roughly 36 km from Bodrum town centre. It operates two passenger terminals side by side: a smaller domestic terminal used mainly for flights to Istanbul, Ankara and İzmir, and a much larger international terminal handling arrivals and departures from abroad.

Ground transport includes the HAVAŞ coach to Bodrum bus station, metered taxis, private transfers, chauffeur services and car hire desks in the arrivals area. From the airport, travelers can reach Bodrum and nearby resorts such as Gümbet, Yalıkavak, Turgutreis, Gümüşlük and Torba within roughly 20 to 60 minutes by road.

Passenger facilities include lounges in both terminals, restaurants and cafés, duty-free shopping in the international terminal, free Wi-Fi for the first 60 minutes, currency exchange, ATMs, family facilities and accessibility support, making the airport a practical entry point for both leisure and domestic travel in the region.
