Hasan Polatkan Airport is the main airport serving Eskişehir, a university city in northwestern Turkey. Opened in 1989 as Eskişehir Anadolu Airport, it was renamed in 2015 in honour of Hasan Polatkan and is operated by Eskişehir Technical University, making it one of the world's few university-run airports with an operating licence.
The airport sits roughly 5 km northeast of central Eskişehir on the university's İki Eylül campus in the Tepebaşı district. It has a single 3,000 m runway and a compact 4,000 m² terminal that handles domestic and international flights, with seasonal connections to European destinations such as Brussels and other cities, alongside aviation training flights.
Travelers can reach central Eskişehir by public bus, taxi, private transfer or rental car, with road access making onward travel to the city centre and surrounding areas relatively quick.
