About Kerki International Airport
Kerki International Airport serves Kerki and the surrounding Lebap region in eastern Turkmenistan. Opened in June 2021, it was the fourth infrastructure project completed under Turkmenistan's National Civil Aviation Development Program (2012–2030).
The airport is located near the Turkmenabat–Kerki highway and the city railway station, placing it within easy reach of Kerki and regional road connections. Its compact terminal covers 2,221 m² and can process up to 100 passengers per hour.
The single terminal includes check-in, baggage claim, ticket offices, an information desk, a 120-seat departure lounge, café, pharmacy, mother-and-child room, prayer room and shops. A separate CIP service area is available, and the runway measures 2,700 m in length.
Kerki Airport mainly serves domestic flights to destinations such as Ashgabat, providing a convenient regional link for travelers in eastern Turkmenistan.
