About Dashoguz International Airport
Dashoguz International Airport is the main airport serving Dashoguz, the administrative centre of Daşoguz Province in northern Turkmenistan. It handles scheduled domestic flights linking the region with other parts of the country, together with transit and charter operations.
The airport's terminal building opened in 1984 and was reconstructed with modern equipment in 2009, with further reconstruction of the runway, apron and aircraft parking completed in 2010. The terminal is designed to handle around 300 passengers per hour.
