Gökçeada Airport is the only airport serving Gökçeada, the largest island in Turkey, in Çanakkale Province. Opened in 2010 and operated by DHMİ, it functions as a small civil and humanitarian-aid airfield with domestic-only traffic.
Located about 3 km from Gökçeada town centre, the airport has a single concrete runway and a compact terminal of approximately 1,200 m², with an apron able to accommodate around three aircraft. Its size keeps the passenger journey short and straightforward.
There is no regular public bus link to the town, so most travelers use taxis, private transfers or rental cars for the short journey to Gökçeada town, nearby villages and the island's beaches. Ferries from Kuzu Limanı connect the island with the mainland, making the airport part of a wider island travel route.
