About Dalaman International Airport
Dalaman International Airport is the main airport for Turkey's Turquoise Coast, serving the towns and holiday resorts of Muğla province in the country's southwest. It opened to civil aviation in 1981 and has grown into a major gateway for travelers heading to Fethiye, Ölüdeniz, Marmaris, Dalyan, Göcek and the surrounding coastal areas.
Located about 6 km from Dalaman town centre, the airport operates two passenger terminals: Terminal 1 for domestic flights and Terminal 2 for international traffic. Its schedule is strongly seasonal, with a busy summer period of scheduled and charter services from Europe alongside year-round domestic connections.
