Bursa Yenişehir Airport (YEI)

Bursa Yenişehir Airport is the main airport serving Bursa, one of Turkey's largest cities, and the surrounding Marmara region. Located in the Yenişehir district of Bursa Province, the airport was developed on a former military airfield and opened to civil air traffic in 2001.

The airport handles domestic flights to cities across Turkey as well as seasonal international services, and its passenger facilities are arranged within a single terminal building that houses both domestic and international halls. This compact layout keeps check-in, security, arrivals and passenger services close together.

Bursa Yenişehir Airport lies approximately 50 km from central Bursa. The airport is reached mainly by road, with private transfers, taxis and rental cars providing onward connections to the city centre and to destinations such as Mudanya, Gemlik, İznik and Uludağ.

The terminal provides essential passenger services including cafés, a snack bar, car rental desks, a ticket sales office, a health unit, an information desk and an ATM. With its straightforward single-terminal operation, the airport offers a convenient gateway for both business and leisure travellers visiting Bursa and the wider region.
