About Tokat Airport
Tokat Airport is the main airport serving the city of Tokat and the surrounding inner Black Sea region of Turkey. The original airport opened in 1995, and a modern replacement built next to the old site entered service on 25 March 2022 with a terminal of about 16,200 square metres and a 2,700-metre runway.
Located roughly 20 km from the Tokat city centre, the airport functions as a domestic gateway for the province. Turkish Airlines has operated flights between Tokat and Istanbul since March 2022, linking the city to Turkey's wider air network.
Passengers can reach the city by shuttle or minibus services, taxis, private transfers, rental cars and road links, making onward travel to Tokat, Turhal and other parts of the province relatively straightforward.
The terminal provides a café, restaurant, passenger lounge, prayer room and parking, supporting a compact and convenient experience for travellers using the airport.
