Sanaa International Airport (SAH)

Sanaa International Airport is the primary international airport serving Sanaa, the capital of Yemen, and the wider northern part of the country. Located approximately 15 km north of the city centre, it functions as the main air gateway for travelers arriving in and departing from the capital region. Its passenger terminal was first developed in the 1970s, when a small airport complex replaced a much more limited airstrip. The airport now has one main passenger terminal and a runway shared with the adjacent Al-Dailami Air Base. Facilities include check-in, immigration and customs, baggage claim, waiting areas, currency exchange and Wi-Fi. Travelers can continue to central Sanaa by taxi or pre-arranged road transport, with travel times depending on traffic and security conditions. As Yemen's main international airport, SAH connects the capital with regional and international routes, although service levels have been affected by the security situation in recent years.
