About Neubrandenburg Airport
Neubrandenburg Airport is a civil airport and former military airfield located in Trollenhagen, about six kilometres northeast of Neubrandenburg in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, northeastern Germany. After the withdrawal of the Bundeswehr, the civilian facilities were developed in the 1990s and the passenger terminal was opened in 1995.
The airport acts as a regional gateway for the city and the surrounding Mecklenburg Lake District. It mainly serves general aviation, business and executive flights, ambulance and rescue flights, sightseeing flights and helicopter operations, supporting both regional mobility and business travel.
