Kropyvnytskyi Airport (IATA: KGO, ICAO: UKKG), also known as Kirovograd Airport, is a small civil airport serving Kropyvnytskyi, formerly Kirovograd, in central Ukraine. It lies about 4 km north-northeast of the city centre in Kirovohrad Oblast and mainly supports general aviation, flight training, and charter or special operations rather than regular scheduled passenger services.
During the Soviet period the airport handled passenger flights to destinations including Kyiv. A new international passenger terminal of about 500 square metres was opened in 2010, but scheduled airline services have not been maintained. The airfield is also connected with the State Flight Academy of Ukraine.
The airport has a compact single passenger terminal, an asphalt runway and a secondary grass runway. Passenger facilities are limited, and ground access to the city is typically by taxi or pre-arranged transfer.
Despite its small size, the airport remains significant for regional aviation and pilot training and can serve as a gateway for charter and business flights in central Ukraine.
