About Vinnytsia International Airport
Vinnytsia International Airport is the regional airport serving Vinnytsia and the surrounding Vinnytsia region in central Ukraine. Opened in 1983, it was developed to handle domestic and international passenger traffic from a single terminal and one concrete runway, connecting the city with destinations in Ukraine and abroad.
The airport is located near the village of Havryshivka, approximately 8 km east of Vinnytsia city centre. Its compact passenger terminal was designed for moderate passenger flows, while taxis, private transfers, rental cars and road links provide onward connections to the city and nearby towns in the Podillia region.
The airport sustained severe damage from missile strikes in March 2022, and regular passenger flights have since been suspended. Travelers planning journeys in the region should verify current air service availability and consider alternative airports or ground transport.
