About Dnipro International Airport
Dnipro International Airport is the airport serving Dnipro, one of Ukraine's largest industrial cities, and the surrounding Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. It lies approximately 15 kilometres southeast of the city centre and historically provided domestic and international connections for the region. The airport has a single passenger terminal and one concrete runway, and for decades it supported both scheduled and charter services, with Dniproavia among the carriers closely associated with the airport. In February 2022, Ukrainian airspace was closed to civilian flights following the Russian invasion, and the airport was heavily damaged in April 2022. Civilian operations have remained suspended since then. In normal times, the airport was reached by road from Dnipro, with taxis, private transfers and other ground transport options linking it to the city centre and nearby destinations such as Kamianske and Kryvyi Rih.
