About Bingöl Airport
Bingöl Airport is the main airport serving the city of Bingöl and the surrounding province in eastern Turkey. Opened in July 2013, it was built to strengthen domestic air connections for the region.
The airport is located about 10 km southeast of the Bingöl city centre, near the village of Çeltiksuyu, and operates through a single domestic terminal. Check-in, security, departure, arrival and baggage claim services are all handled within one compact terminal building.
Travellers can reach the city centre by taxi or shuttle bus, and car rental arrangements are typically made through providers based in the city. Parking is also available at the airport for private vehicles.
With a café, VIP lounge, prayer rooms and emergency medical support, the airport provides a practical gateway for domestic travel in eastern Anatolia.
