Batman Airport is the main airport serving the city of Batman and surrounding provinces in southeastern Anatolia. Located about 6–7 km from the city centre, the airport is a joint civil-military facility with a modern passenger terminal that opened in August 2010.
The airport connects the region to major Turkish cities through regular domestic flights to Istanbul Airport, Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen, Ankara Esenboğa and Izmir Adnan Menderes, with seasonal services to Antalya. In 2026 it was designated a permanent international border gate, expanding its role in the region's air connections.
