Yingkou Lanqi Airport is the domestic airport serving Yingkou and the surrounding Liaodong Bay area in Liaoning. It opened on 3 February 2016 with a China Eastern Airlines service from Shanghai Pudong, giving the city its own air connection after travelers had long relied on nearby airports in Shenyang and Dalian.
The airport has a single passenger terminal built for domestic operations, supported by a 4C-class runway and C-class aircraft parking positions. It links Yingkou with domestic destinations such as Shanghai and Nanjing and has since expanded to include a dedicated cargo route.
Located in Lanqi Village about 17 km from central Yingkou, the airport sits close to the G15 Shenyang-Haikou Expressway and around 15 km from Yingkou East high-speed rail station. Travelers can continue to the city centre, Bayuquan and surrounding areas by taxi, private transfer or road.
