Ali Pulan Airport is a dual-use military-civilian airport serving Burang County and the wider Ngari Prefecture in the Tibet Autonomous Region of China. Opened on 27 December 2023, it is one of the region's newest high-altitude airports and improves air access to remote western Tibet.
Located about 12 km from Burang Town at an elevation of 4,250 m, the airport has a single passenger terminal of roughly 6,000 square metres and a 4,500-metre runway. The facility is designed to support civil aviation alongside limited military operations.
The airport mainly handles domestic flights, with scheduled service linking the area to Lhasa. Road access connects the terminal to Burang Town and onward routes across Ngari Prefecture.
Because of its high altitude and remote setting, the airport provides a practical air link for travelers heading to Burang County and the Mount Kailash and Lake Manasarovar region, although onward journeys continue by road.
