About Xingtai Dalian Airport
Xingtai Dalian Airport is the civil aviation gateway for Xingtai, a city in southern Hebei Province, China. Located about 15 km north of the city centre in Shahe, it serves domestic travel and operates as a joint civil-military regional airport.
Commercial services previously operated from 1993 to 2001. After an upgrade and expansion project that began in 2020, scheduled flights resumed on 18 July 2024 with the launch of the Xingtai–Guangzhou route operated by China Southern Airlines.
The airport has a single passenger terminal of about 6,100 square metres, a 2,600-metre runway and six aircraft parking stands, with capacity designed for about 450,000 passengers per year.
Travellers can reach the airport by taxi, private transfers and an airport bus service coordinated with flight schedules, making onward journeys to the city centre and surrounding areas straightforward.
