About Vigo Airport
Vigo Airport, also known as Peinador, is the main airport serving Vigo and the southern part of Galicia. It is located in the municipalities of Mos, Redondela and Vigo, about nine kilometres from central Vigo and around 28 kilometres from Pontevedra.
A major extension and complete remodelling of the terminal building was inaugurated in 2014, modernising the airport and increasing its capacity. The airport operates a single passenger terminal with two levels, handling mostly domestic routes along with some international connections.
The airport is reached by road and offers taxis, private transfers, chauffeur services and car rental for onward travel to Vigo, Pontevedra, the Rías Baixas coast and other destinations in Galicia.
