About the Event
Mobile World Congress Barcelona 2027 takes place from 1 to 4 March 2027 at Fira Gran Via in Barcelona. Organised by the GSMA, it brings together the global connectivity ecosystem, adjacent industries, policymakers and media for four days of exhibitions, conferences and business meetings.
MWC27 is shaped by six thought leadership themes: Networks Reinvented, AI in Action, Autonomous Enterprise, AI of Tomorrow, Trust at Scale and The Next Era. These themes frame keynotes, conference sessions and specialist summits covering topics such as 5G Advanced, Open RAN, sovereign cloud, agentic AI, quantum AI, digital identity, cybersecurity and frontier technologies.
New for 2027 are dedicated technology spaces for automotive, health and aviation, showcasing intelligent connectivity through real-world use cases. The Connect Health programme also launches at MWC27 and 4YFN in partnership with Mobile World Capital, giving healthcare and technology leaders a dedicated forum to explore connectivity solutions for patient care.
The show floor includes technology showcases focused on frontier AI, robotics and non-terrestrial network satellite connectivity, with New Frontiers returning to Hall 6. New exhibitors joining MWC27 include AWS, ElevenLabs and HP Inc, while returning companies such as Agibot, KDDI, Nokia and Unitree expand their presence.
Alongside the main congress, 4YFN returns as the leading international startup event, and Talent Arena runs in parallel at Fira de Barcelona Montjuïc. Sports Tomorrow Congress and the GSMA Ministerial Programme also return, bringing together policymakers and industry leaders to shape the future of mobile and digital policy.
The event is aimed at senior decision makers, network operators, technology companies, startups, investors, government representatives and media. The GSMA expects more than 100,000 attendees from over 200 countries and territories, offering opportunities to meet customers, build partnerships and discover the technologies shaping industries worldwide.
