Valladolid Airport serves the city of Valladolid and the wider Castile and León region. Located in the municipality of Villanubla, about ten kilometres northwest of the city centre, the airport handles domestic and limited international flights.
The current passenger terminal opened in 2000, although the airport itself dates back to 1938 and shares its site with the Villanubla air base. Today the single-terminal building offers a compact, easy-to-navigate layout with check-in, security, boarding and arrivals in close proximity.
The airport is reached by road via the N-601 and is connected to Valladolid by bus services that also stop at the railway and bus stations. Taxis, private transfers and chauffeur services provide additional connections to the city centre and nearby towns.
