About Valencia Airport
Valencia Airport is the main international airport serving Valencia and the wider Valencian Community. Officially opened in March 1933, the airport has grown into a busy Mediterranean gateway handling domestic Spanish flights and international services across Europe, as well as a growing number of intercontinental connections.
Located in Manises, about 8 km west of central Valencia, the airport operates from a single passenger terminal with arrivals on the ground floor and departures on the upper level. The terminal has been expanded over the years, including a regional terminal opened in 2007 and a further terminal extension in 2012.
The airport is well connected to the city by Metrovalencia lines 3 and 5, EMT bus line 150, taxis, private transfers and road links. The metro journey to the city centre takes around 20 minutes.
Passengers can use cafés, restaurants, shops, a duty-free store, a VIP lounge, free Wi-Fi and charging points across the terminal, making it a convenient gateway for visitors to Valencia and the surrounding region.
