About Tainan Airport
Tainan Airport (TNN) is a joint civil and military airport serving Tainan City in southern Taiwan. Located in the South District about 6–8 km from the city centre, it is operated as a shared facility with the Republic of China Air Force and functions as the main air gateway for Tainan.
The airport primarily handles domestic routes, with regular services to Kinmen and Penghu (Magong) operated by Uni Air. It has also supported international connections in the past and serves as a convenient secondary gateway to southern Taiwan alongside Kaohsiung International Airport.
The passenger terminal is a single building with three floors above ground and one basement, offering check-in, security, arrivals, dining, shopping and other basic services. Because the airfield is shared with the military, passengers may be transported between the terminal and aircraft by shuttle bus.
