Siem Reap-Angkor International Airport is the main international airport serving Siem Reap and the surrounding province. It opened for commercial operations in October 2023, replacing Siem Reap International Airport and consolidating passenger traffic into a larger, modern airport complex.
Located around 50 km east of central Siem Reap, the airport provides connections to domestic and international destinations and serves leisure and business travelers visiting Angkor Wat and the wider region. Its single passenger terminal handles both domestic and international operations within one building.
The airport is connected to Siem Reap by road, with taxis, private transfers, buses and rental cars providing onward travel to the city centre, hotels and nearby attractions. The journey generally takes around 45–60 minutes depending on traffic.
