Shenyang Taoxian International Airport is the main airport serving Shenyang, the capital of Liaoning province in Northeast China. Opened in 1989, it has grown into one of the region's most important air gateways, handling both domestic and international flights.
Located about 20 km south of central Shenyang in the Taoxian area of Hunnan District, the airport serves leisure and business travelers arriving in or departing from the city and the wider Liaoning region.
The airport's passenger operations are concentrated in Terminal 3, which opened in 2013 and handles domestic and international services. Check-in, security, arrivals, shopping, dining and lounge facilities are arranged across the terminal's departure and arrival levels.
