Qinhuangdao Beidaihe Airport is the main civil airport serving Qinhuangdao, a coastal city in northeastern Hebei Province, and the nearby Beidaihe seaside resort. Opened in 2016, it took over civil aviation operations from the older Shanhaiguan Airport and serves as a convenient entry point for visitors travelling to the Bohai coast.
Located in Longjiadian Town, Changli County, the airport lies about 47 km from downtown Qinhuangdao and around 50 km from the Beidaihe Scenic Area. Its single two-storey terminal handles domestic and international passenger services and is supported by a 2,600-metre runway.
Ground connections include an airport shuttle bus between the terminal and Beidaihe District, plus taxis and road access for private transfers, chauffeur services and rental cars. The journey to downtown Qinhuangdao or the Beidaihe area generally takes roughly one to one and a half hours by road.
