Oudomxay Airport is the small domestic airport serving Muang Xay, the capital of Oudomxay Province in northern Laos. It mainly connects the region to Vientiane through scheduled services operated by Lao Airlines and Lao Skyway.
The airport sits about 1–3 km from Muang Xay town centre on the southeast outskirts of the city, close to Route 13 and Highway 2E. It has a single compact passenger terminal and one concrete runway, making it an easy point of arrival and departure for travelers moving through northern Laos.
From the airport, the town centre is reachable in a few minutes by taxi or tuk-tuk, and some visitors can even walk. Road connections continue onward to places such as Luang Namtha and Luang Prabang, so the airport works as a practical stop for regional travel.
