About Mianyang Nanjiao Airport
Mianyang Nanjiao Airport is the main airport serving Mianyang, a city in northern Sichuan Province, China. Opened on 28 April 2001, it is a joint civil-military and flight-training airport and one of Sichuan's most important regional air gateways.
Located in Fucheng District about 10 kilometres south of central Mianyang, the airport mainly handles domestic flights. It has two passenger terminals, T1 and T2, which together provide around 48,000 square metres of terminal space; T2 opened in November 2022 to expand capacity.
The airport is connected to the city by shuttle buses, city bus routes, taxis, private transfers and road links, with direct bus connections to Mianyang Railway Station for onward rail travel.
