About Liancheng Guanzhishan Airport
Liancheng Guanzhishan Airport is the main civil airport serving Liancheng County and Longyan City in western Fujian. Opened on 25 April 2004, it is a dual-use civil and military airport that gave Longyan its own air link to destinations across China.
Located in Liancheng County, the airport sits about 105 km north of downtown Longyan and only a few kilometres from Liancheng town centre and the Guanzhi Mountain scenic area. It handles domestic routes to cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Kunming, Nanjing, Foshan and Guilin.
The airport has a single domestic terminal and a 2,400-metre runway, supported by airline check-in counters, security screening and a compact range of passenger facilities.
Road connections link the airport to Liancheng, Longyan and the surrounding border region of Fujian, Guangdong and Jiangxi provinces, with taxis, buses and private transfers available for onward travel.
