Kotoka International Airport is Ghana's main international airport, serving Accra and the Greater Accra region. Named after Lieutenant General Emmanuel Kwasi Kotoka, it is the country's primary air gateway and a hub for flights across West Africa and beyond.
The airport sits about 10 km north of central Accra. Terminal 3, opened in 2018, handles regional and international operations, while Terminal 2 is used for domestic flights; the older Terminal 1 now hosts private jet and fixed-base operator services. The airport is operated by Ghana Airports Company Limited.
