Kerch Airport is a small civil airport serving the city of Kerch and the eastern part of the Crimean Peninsula. It is located about 1.5 km northwest of the city centre, making Kerch itself very quick to reach by road.
The airport dates back to 1944 and has long functioned as a local aviation facility. Scheduled airline flights ceased around 2008, and today the airport mainly handles general aviation; its infrastructure includes a single small passenger terminal and a paved runway.
Because of its position near the city, onward travel is simple: most passengers use taxis, private transfers, or rental cars for the short journey into Kerch and surrounding areas.
