Kajjansi Airfield is a small domestic airfield located near Kajjansi, roughly 17 km south of Kampala's central business district. It serves charter operators, flight training schools and humanitarian aviation work across Uganda rather than scheduled international traffic.
The airfield is owned by Aviation Communication and Logistics Services (ACLS) and operated by Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF), an international Christian humanitarian organisation. It functions as the operations base for the Kampala Aeroclub and Flight Training Centre and other aviation academies, supporting pilot training, aircraft maintenance and domestic charter connections to places such as Arua, Mbarara, Kisoro and Soroti.
Set near the shores of Lake Victoria, the airfield has a single unpaved runway and a small departure building. Because it is a private airfield, commercial international flights are not operated here; most travellers arrive or depart by road or use the facility for domestic and training flights.
