Jumla Airport is a domestic airport serving Jumla District in Karnali Province, western Nepal. Opened on 1 October 1972, it is operated by the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal and supports travel and trade across the region.
Located close to Jumla Bazaar in Chandannath Municipality, the airport sits at an elevation of about 2,375 metres and has a single asphalt runway. Its domestic services connect the town mainly with Nepalgunj and other regional points.
The airport is about 500 metres from Jumla Bazaar, so the town centre is only a short drive away by local taxi or private transfer, with road access to surrounding areas.
As a practical access point for the Karnali region, Jumla Airport is a useful base for onward travel toward Rara Lake, trekking routes and other destinations in western Nepal.
