Mahendranagar Airport (XMG) is a minor domestic airport serving Bhimdatta, commonly known as Mahendranagar, in the Kanchanpur district of Nepal's far-western Sudurpaschim province. It lies close to Shuklaphanta National Park and the border with India, and is currently not operational.
The airfield has a single earthen runway measuring about 884 by 30 metres with a 17/35 orientation, and sits at an elevation of roughly 216 metres. Passenger infrastructure is limited, and there are no active scheduled commercial flights at present.
Located about 2 km southwest of the Bhimdatta city centre, the airport is reached by local roads. Because it is not operational, travelers continuing to Mahendranagar, Dhangadhi and nearby areas do so by road using taxis, private transfers or other vehicles.
As a currently inactive airfield, Mahendranagar Airport remains part of Nepal's small domestic airport network in the far west, with most onward travel in the region handled by road.
