Juan Manuel Gálvez International Airport is the main international airport serving Roatán, the largest of Honduras's Bay Islands. Opened in its current form in 1995, the airport is named after Juan Manuel Gálvez, a former president of Honduras, and replaced the earlier Roatán airfield.
