About Iki Airport
Iki Airport is a small domestic airport serving Iki Island in Nagasaki Prefecture, Japan. Opened in 1966, it lies on the island's southeastern coast near Tsutsukihama Beach and provides the island's only scheduled air connection to Nagasaki.
The airport has a single passenger terminal and one 1,200-metre runway. Scheduled flights are operated by Oriental Air Bridge, with code-share services by ANA and Japan Airlines, connecting Iki with Nagasaki Airport in around 30 minutes.
Located about 8 km from the Gonoura area, the airport can be reached by local bus, taxi, rental car, and private transfer. A bus from Gonoura takes roughly 25 minutes, while a taxi normally takes around 20 minutes.
As a compact island airport, it offers simple and easy-to-navigate passenger facilities, making it a convenient air link between Iki and the Nagasaki mainland.
