About Heihe Aihui Airport
This small regional airport serves Heihe, a border city in the far north of Heilongjiang Province, China. It traces its origins to the 1930s and was rebuilt and reopened on its current site in 1985, later gaining a new terminal building in 2003.
Located about 16 km from central Heihe and within roughly 15 km of the China–Russia border, the airport mainly handles domestic flights to cities such as Harbin, Beijing and Shanghai. Its compact terminal has departure and arrival halls on the first floor and a business area on the second floor, making the passenger journey short and easy to follow.
The airport is connected to the city by shuttle bus and taxi. The shuttle links the airport with Heihe Railway Station, the trade building, customs, Heihe International Hotel and the civil aviation ticket office, while taxis reach the centre in around 25 minutes.
For travelers, the airport offers basic but practical facilities, including a café, convenience store and medical centre, and serves as a convenient entry point for the Wudalianchi Global Geopark and the wider northern Heilongjiang region.
