Gafsa – Ksar International Airport is the main airport serving Gafsa and the phosphate-mining interior of southwestern Tunisia. Opened in 1999 and managed by the Office of Civil Aviation and Airports (OACA), it connects the region to other Tunisian cities through scheduled domestic flights and occasional charter operations.
Located about three to five kilometres northeast of central Gafsa, within the municipality of El Ksar, the airport has a single compact terminal and a 2,900-metre asphalt runway. Check-in, security and boarding areas are close together, making the terminal quick and easy to navigate.
