About Fuzuli International Airport
Fuzuli International Airport is the first airport in the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan and serves as an important gateway for domestic and international travel. Opened in October 2021, it was built to improve access to Fuzuli, Shusha and the surrounding liberated territories.
The airport is located around 5 km east of Fuzuli city centre and features a single passenger terminal with a 3,000-metre-long, 60-metre-wide runway. Its infrastructure is designed to handle passenger services, airline operations, arrivals, departures and ground transportation.
Fuzuli International Airport is connected to the region by road, with onward links to Fuzuli, Shusha and the capital Baku by taxi, private transfer and other ground transport options.
