About Yevlakh Airport
Yevlakh Airport serves the city of Yevlakh in central Azerbaijan and acts as a regional aviation facility for the surrounding Kura River area. Its single runway and compact terminal support regional passenger, cargo and general aviation activity.
The airport was substantially rebuilt and reopened in September 2013, when a new 2,520-metre runway, taxiway and apron were constructed and the terminal was renovated. The upgrades allow larger passenger and cargo aircraft to use the airport.
Located about 2 km from the centre of Yevlakh and roughly 230 km west of Baku, the airport sits close to the main Baku–Ganja road corridor. Travelers can reach the city and nearby towns by taxi, private transfer or rental car.
The terminal offers arrival and departure zones, check-in counters, a café and a car park. While scheduled services are limited, the airport provides a convenient regional base for private, charter and cargo flights.
