About Fuyuan Dongji Airport
Fuyuan Dongji Airport is a small regional airport serving Fuyuan, one of the easternmost cities in China, in Heilongjiang Province. Opened on 26 May 2014, it is classed as a 4C regional airport and is known as China's easternmost civil airport.
Located in Nongqiao Town about 20 km from Fuyuan city centre, the airport has a single passenger terminal, a 2,500-metre runway and four aircraft parking stands. It mainly handles domestic flights and has served routes including Harbin, Beijing, Shanghai, Weihai, Jiamusi and Khabarovsk.
Onward travel is mainly by taxi or airport shuttle bus between the terminal and Fuyuan city centre, reflecting the airport's compact scale and regional role.
Despite its small size, the airport offers essential passenger facilities including lounges, a mother-and-baby room, accessibility services and self-service check-in, making it a practical gateway to eastern Heilongjiang and nearby Heixiazi Island.
