Enshi Xujiaping International Airport is the main airport serving Enshi City in Hubei Province and the wider Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture. Opened on 28 November 1993, the airport has grown into a 4C-class regional airport connecting the area with major domestic cities, and it gained international airport status in 2025.
Located about 3.5 km from Enshi city centre and around 3 km from Enshi Railway Station, the airport is set close to the city on the Xujiaping plateau. It has a 2,600-metre runway and two passenger terminals, with Terminal 2 handling domestic services and Terminal 1 serving international flights.
The airport is linked to downtown Enshi by bus line 18, taxis, private transfers, and road connections, making onward travel to the city centre and surrounding attractions straightforward. Popular nearby destinations include Enshi Grand Canyon and the karst landscapes around Lichuan.
