Aachen-Merzbrück Airport is a general aviation airfield located in Würselen, about 10 km northeast of central Aachen. It serves private, business and training flights as well as research aviation, rather than scheduled airline services, and functions as a compact gateway for the Aachen region.
The airfield has a long aviation history, with origins dating back to the early 20th century and later use as a military field before becoming a civil facility. Today it operates a single asphalt runway of about 1,160 metres, supported by hangars, an apron and a tower.
Located close to Würselen and Eschweiler, the airfield is reachable by road via the B264 and nearby motorways.
