About Zhenjiang Dalu Airport
Zhenjiang Dalu Airport is a general aviation airport serving Zhenjiang, a major city on the Yangtze River in Jiangsu Province, China. It opened on December 26, 2014, and in 2020 became the first general aviation airport in Jiangsu Province to receive an IATA three-letter code (AZJ).
Located in Dalu Town, Zhenjiang New District, about 25 km from central Zhenjiang, the airport operates a single business aircraft terminal of roughly 3,600 square metres, an 800-metre runway and an apron with 28 aircraft parking stands. Its activities cover flight training, aviation tourism, aerial photography and surveying, forest firefighting and emergency rescue.
The airport has opened short-distance commuter routes to Qiandao Lake, Xinyi and Huangshan, including Jiangsu's first low-altitude commuter route. In 2025 it became the first airport in the Yangtze River Basin to hold dual qualifications as both a runway-type airport and a water airport.
Access to central Zhenjiang and nearby Yangzhong Island is available by road via Jingang Avenue, with taxis, private transfers, chauffeur services and rental cars providing onward travel options.
