Yichun Mingyueshan Airport is the main air gateway serving Yichun and the wider Jiangxi region. Opened on 26 June 2013, it connects the city with major domestic destinations across China.
The airport is located in Yuanzhou District, about 10 km southwest of downtown Yichun and roughly 33 km from the Mingyue Mountain scenic area. It serves both business and leisure travelers visiting the city and surrounding region.
Passenger services operate from a single terminal of about 7,160 square metres, with a 2,400-metre runway and 11 aircraft stands. Domestic routes link Yichun with cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Kunming and Qingdao.
