About Yancheng Nanyang International Airport
Yancheng Nanyang International Airport is the main airport serving Yancheng, a city in eastern China's Jiangsu province. Located in Nanyang Town, Tinghu District, about 8 kilometres from the city centre, it provides domestic and international connections for travellers to and from the coastal region.
Regular civil aviation services resumed in 2000, and the airport gained international status in 2017. Terminal 2 opened in 2018 and now handles domestic flights, while the renovated Terminal 1 reopened in 2023 as the international terminal. A single runway of 2,800 metres supports passenger operations.
Road links and public transport connect the airport with central Yancheng. An airport shuttle bus, local bus services and taxis offer onward travel to the city centre, railway station and other parts of the city.
