Yagoua Airport is a small public-use airport serving the town of Yagoua, the capital of the Mayo-Danay department in Cameroon's Far North Region. Located near the Logone River and the border with Chad, the airport supports domestic air links for a remote agricultural and fishing area, as well as government travel, regional trade, medical evacuations and humanitarian logistics in the Lake Chad basin.
The airport has a single functional passenger terminal and one grass-surfaced runway. Domestic flights, mainly operated by Camair-Co, provide intermittent connections to larger Cameroonian hubs such as Maroua and Douala. Its modest infrastructure keeps arrivals, check-in and departures simple and easy to navigate.
