About Xingyi Wanfenglin Airport
Xingyi Wanfenglin Airport is the main airport serving Xingyi and the wider Qianxinan Buyei and Miao Autonomous Prefecture in southwestern Guizhou. Opened on 18 July 2004, it was renamed Xingyi Wanfenglin Airport in 2014 and added a modern Terminal 2 in August 2018.
The airport operates as a 4C domestic regional airport with a 2,800-metre runway. Terminal 1, opened in 2004, now mainly handles general aviation and cargo, while Terminal 2 serves the airport's passenger flights and is equipped with four boarding bridges. Domestic routes connect Xingyi with cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Guiyang and Kunming.
Located about 7 km from central Xingyi, the airport is also a convenient access point for the Wanfenglin National Geopark and the Maling River Canyon scenic area. City buses, taxis, private transfers and rental cars link the terminal with the city centre and nearby attractions.
The compact terminal layout keeps walking distances short, and passengers can use self-service check-in kiosks, a VIP lounge and baggage inquiry services before continuing by airport bus or taxi.
