About Vadodara International Airport
Vadodara International Airport, also known as Civil Airport Harni, serves Vadodara and the central Gujarat region. Operated by the Airports Authority of India, it is a key gateway for travelers visiting the city's business districts, industrial areas, and cultural landmarks.
A new integrated terminal building was inaugurated in 2016 and is designed to handle domestic and international passenger traffic, with the capacity to process around 700 passengers per hour. The airport currently focuses primarily on domestic services, while international operations have received regulatory clearance.
The airport is located in the Harni area, roughly 7 km northeast of central Vadodara. It is connected to the city by taxis, pre-paid taxis, app-based cabs, auto-rickshaws, city buses, private transfers, and car rental, making onward travel to hotels and business locations relatively straightforward.
Inside the compact terminal, passengers have access to a lounge, restaurants, cafés, shops, ATMs, free trolleys, and accessibility services, along with parking and other practical amenities.
