Tottori Sand Dunes Conan Airport is the main airport serving Tottori city and the eastern part of Tottori Prefecture. Opened in 1967, it began as a small prefectural airport and later adopted the Conan theme in 2015 to reflect both the nearby Tottori Sand Dunes and the work of manga artist Gosho Aoyama, who was born in the prefecture.
Located about 7 km northwest of central Tottori, the airport mainly handles domestic scheduled flights and is also used for international charter services.
